I love the idea of this show. It has a few genuinely funny moments every week. But a lot of it seems to rely on the viewer drinking the kool-aid. This is where it breaks away from the Daily Show. If you really want to ridicule the left, find video of left wing politicians and left wing media skewering themselves. That kind of thing is what makes the daily show more than just an engine for right wing mockery, it has become a cultural institution. I would welcome a right wing Daily Show".

I like to assume most people are good and decent and when they say crazy or stupid things it's because they don't know better. That's why education is very important and to be open minded to new information. But there are people who have a vested interest in thinking a certain way and that is one of the great evils of politics. I agree with you. Ron Paul is a brilliant constitutionalist but is recklessly naive about Islam. I love the guy until he morphs into Rev. Wright and starts blaming Islamic hatred on the US. I wonder how Ron Paul explains their hatred for their own daughters sisters and wives which they behead, stone to death, slash off their clitorus and marry and impregnate beofre they are developed enough to give birth with out destroying their internal organs.

Ron Paul would be a good choice -IF- he had solid international policies. Unfortunately, his international policies are every bit as horrible as Obama's. We need someone with good domestic and foreign policies. Taking care of ourselves is good, alienating and isolating ourselves from our allies, not so good.
