This is really good. It is exactly in the direction of what I look for and what I need to be able to learn these bio-physical/chemical systems, however, it still falls short for me because I don't have enough subject-specific education. So, I wish there was more detail. Thank you though for posting. As I say, this is very, very good. Oh, and once again this is concept that steers me to that question of, was there a conscious effort to develop this phenom of life, or is it all by accident?

this is great, but if the efferent cells are the ones that are moved by the tectorial membrane, they why are they not transmitting that signal ( what is their efferent function?)

nice man, trolling on someones beliefs. Good for you. But just quickly, isn't the stem of anti-Christianity partially because people think that Christians can try to force their beliefs?
So with that, shouldn't you be a tad skeptical of yourself because you're trying to force your beliefs of no God or other deity upon those that do have beliefs of creationism?
Oh and if the evolution idea is "so" perfect, why are we killing ourselves and the world? Some higher beings we're.

well it usually is sodium- but since potassium also forms a positively charged ion it can also depolarise the membrane, when there is a K+ influx. it kind of makes it easier since now you're only dealing with potassium ions instead of both sodium and potassium :)

That's wierd. Why does Potassium depolarizes the hair cell and not Sodium?
