No you're wrong! Leon has been infected and he is hallucinating. In this plot Leon is also fighting for a cure while doing his missions! The change from this to what RE4 is what we know, it's Capcom's fault. Why did Keiji Inafune went out? And lot os big heads in the company just move out from there?
Did you see what capcom is doind to Devil May Cry 5???

Well, they just want money, and they think that this is only possible changing the gameplay style oriented to the western taste!

LEOOOON LEOOOOOOOON * shoots* sounds like someone in marketing felt it would be more profitable to make him a hero and badass instead of keeping with tradition in the name more making a few more bucks with both casual gamers and people who cant take scary games.

I understand why this was cancelled...... it's because the moving armors and dolls are not really connected with the las plagas..... a virus or parasite couldn't make a non-living thing move right???

Is there any logical reason why Capcom cancelled the good version that felt like a game from the series? The restrictive camera angles make Resident Evil. They could have had an optional behind the back camera mode and first person aiming.

I can understand why people don't like ghost in re but games need to move a little. Unfortunately resident evil went a bad direction by just adding more and more viruses.

This looks amazing, I'm looking for a game that wont just make me jump out of my seat but will make me shout "What the fuck" and die.. because I dropped my control pad.. why is there no games like that for the Xbox360.. I can't find a single scary games, Dead Space 2 wasn't scary a bit I jumped once.. and that's because I died on the hardest difficulty and went onto another game.. not because it was scary! .. just the camera angle's and the movement of this game make it much more scary.

They should've had this instead of the one they have now: Keep the dolls and make the rest zombies instead of ghosts. It would have been a great version and a lot scarier. I know this was only shown for the gamecube only, but if they had this for all the consoles, I'd be playing it on the PS2 a lot.

Why wont they just have us pick the version? Maybe at the main menu you could pick the version. Or somehow combine both. Have it set on third person then when you actually have to shoot something then put it on shooter version automatically when you press the left trigger or whatever the button is to zoom in lol. Why not?

What's so wrong about having ghosts in Resident Evil? If RE4 was born to be innovative, keep the innovation inside the horror and suspense genre; and not turn it into a pump-action game, completely killing its origin. When I first saw this demo, I was very excited; but when I saw the final product, I didn't like one bit of it.

You are right the majority of new age gamers won't be satisfied.. But if the main element and atmosphere would stay old style plus give a "new touch" something innovative for current gen then I believe the series will reach another level, would be loved by all and teach those young lings that its not only action in games.. haha yeap I'm not that thrilled.. I will play it of course.

Well I think developers just need to work more with what they've got now. They can't just go completely back to the old style, I think it just wouldn't work as well nowadays. And I take it your not too thrilled about RE6?

the only thing I would change is the ghost factor...I mean, RE is not about ghosts, it's about zombies and creatures BUT THIS GAME LOOKS FUCKING AMAZING! not that RE4 was bad but this is the survival horror that characterizes the series.

it seems capcom went for the mass gamers that want their games filled with action, explosions etc shallow things I say. If they wanted to be respected among hardcore gamers which still there are a lot around! they would have released the game like this. I've played and finished both RE 4 and 5 but the fun and memories I had with RE 1,0 and Code Veronica cannot be compared. Good old Gaming is going to extinct in a few years wait and see

@hindd95 @hindd95 Whats so wrong with ghosts in Resident Evil? generally Biohazard is the original title, i'm sure you know what Biohazard means. it's about viruses, a virus outbreak. zombies, hunters, monsters, las plagas, uroboros, everything have to do with virus. ghost aren't viruses unless they making a hallucination virus. but that doesn't make sense, since all the viruses turn you into something horrible & creepy.
