It started a market for fighting games. Street Fighter is the Godfather, Mortal Kombat is its flesh and blood. These two games sparked a whole interest in fighting games, in my opinion, and while I am not so naive to say these two are the TOP of the line this day and age, they are certainly the heart and soul of fighting games. Will these three video games always be the best? No.

That is why I called it the Godfather. It's not the best, but it started the string of horror games that were to follow. It's the reason why people turn off their lights, and turn up the sound in their rooms to play games like Dead Space. Though now we look back, and wonder how in the hell we were ever scared of such animations, the games that followed into this generation, with new graphics, can update, and expand the scares. The same goes for Street Fighter.

I have played both games. The games have a good premise. Going to different worlds I knew and grew up with as a kid, and helping out familiar characters. I'll probably play the third one as well, so I know the main storyline. Fuck 352 days, and all the little shit going on. And to mention your intelligence, only makes you fall faster into being known as a major fail.
