You dont get a very clear picture of how the brain works from looking at one while its "off" But cadavers have done wonders for giving us a look inside at least..
But for the sake that all our neurological functions are related to Brain Chemistry, understanding what affects it and how,just as DMT is produced in the Pineal gland. Sure they found where the gland is, but knowing it's location does little to tell us how it relates to cognitive function and Near death experience or other phenomena.

i think that these advancements came from experimentation and dissection of dead bodies just like it has for the majority of human history after the Renaissance. I seriously doubt that the majority or even a fraction of what medical professionals know on a public level today comes from secret military projects and history will back me up on this.

Because some of the time, the people who take this stuff have other pre-existing psychological conditions which become exaggerated under the influence of Hallucinogenics, I've seen it a few times, not pretty stuff. But the same result can happen (at least similar in nature) with some individuals when they consume THC just as well.

Well I've certainly done large amounts of LSD and Scolopamine in my time.
Went really easy on the Datura though so never hit that "KooKoo for Coco Puffs" point like they were aiming for, but I found some nifty stuff with it.

Let me explain so that you may understand.
If you tell someone the truth, they'll believe you. Logic dictates that the more truths you say the more you are believed, however it's easy to perverse this practice. If you get enough people to stop thinking and follow you blindly (because you have not mislead them thus far) it becomes easy to spurt out rubbish and have it accepted. Alex Jones is a good example of this.

...posted the video's theory (and he said he'd seen this a lot) was that the blinkers were transmitting thought (psi-ops) to the speaker. The speaker wasn't blinking tremendously, but whenever one of the guys behind him turned toward him and started blinking (and he couldn't see them because he was in front so it wasn't a visual thing) his speech would go smoother. It was definitely food for thought. Also blinking is a known characteristic of someone who is lying (from a body language pov).
