Its the old and stupid hollywood way to create movies,they tend to cut off good ideas and sticking with the same generic way,remenber what they did to george romero?and alison mcgree?people with talents for horror and dramas but were ignored by hollywood.

But nowadays the public does not want to know, some movies that are based on several games did not really portray the story goes that the game has to be analyzed to prepare for the switch between game and film, and when it is Alice optimal, because every story needs to have his little boy (a) to follow and make sense in the story as the game tells the story of a group of people, each with its history, and the action I think is at its limit, as in action game itself counts for much.

The difference you talk about was never supposed to exist to begin with,the films are called "Resident Evil" and they created some characters based in the games so theres nothing wrong if anyone want to see some coherence here,but those movies are full of flaws and nonsense,Alice is a fail...completely out of place,some characters from the game were pathetically portrayed,not to mention the overdose of action for a movie that was supposed to be horror based.

I love this movie ... Many great actors and great special effects, a pity that there are people who can not see the difference between game and film, I've played the whole series, and found it very cool that difference ... And I hope some people come out to search before and after criticizing!

RE movies always end like that.
1st RE movie; Umbrella grabs them, straps them down and they're fu**ed.
RE Apocalypse; she's super human but Umbrella controls her. They're fu**ed
RE Extinction; Well actually that one ended in Alice's favor. Bunch of her clones
RE Afterlife; A ridiculous amount of enemy helicopters. They're fu**ed

Maybe you're right. He should have never been cast as Chris but he could of at least done his homework. Even though the RE movies' plot line don't really match the game's(drives me crazy! but eh), the characters in the movies do. And everyone is doing a great job playing their character except him.
