North American hockey was always much more physical than European hockey, whereas the latter was much more about tactics and teamwork. Canadians always played much more individualistically than Soviet hockey teams; Canadian players would get paid for each puck they netted, while a goal from a Russian player was a goal for the entire team - completely different philosophies and playing styles, as you can see.

Ofc someone have got injured but thats from something wich can happen in hockey, difference between Canadian and European hockey is just that we do not play that way. i know that you guys can't understand what they say in Russian on the video, i'll translate that they said they're sure that the Swedish side would be graceful, as always, and would congratulate the Russians (as they did, i suppose?), and that both teams were excellent.
