The front of my car looks somewhat similar to this one, because this is almost exactly how my car hit the barrier, but I was going 65mph at the time, so mine is quite a bit more smashed up. Could have been so much worse though. I am thankful that I had such a great car that protected me.

I was sideswiped by some jerk with road rage, and slammed into the concrete barrier over a bridge in my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS today. The safety features, the weight of the car, and the center of gravity prevented me from flipping over the bridge and it saved my life. I escaped a terrible looking crash with only a burn from my seatbelt and some bruises. These cars are wonderful.

@phophel hell the one in this test was only goin about 40-45 and look how it ended up. cars are not meant to survive through multiple crashes, just 1 and to make sure the driver and passengers are safe.

@phophel a head on collision at 50mph from just one moving car alone is no joke... the fact that you were on here to type about not more than a week later means the car did its job. ANY car would have been totalled from the front end from a 50mph crash.

the car only ejects the passenger airbag when there is so much weight so if you had a young child sitting there the airbag wont rip their head off

and invisible side airbags :))) Well, it was just the driver so if had a passanger airbag it wont pop if there's no one on the seat.

i just crashed my 2007 eclips this past saturday. some ass hole kid was doing 50 and hit me head on trying to beat a red light
the car is a total loss i would never get a new one after seeing the front end of my car

those "dolls" cost an enormous amount of money. you know why? cause they engineer them to react exactly like a human body in the event of a car crash and to relay every bit of that information to the computer. doll or not, this demonstration makes me not want this car.
