Why is that Madonna gets so much ageism from people? I am sure a lot of you watch American Idol Steven Tyler is 64 and J-LO is 42. Madonna fits right in the middle and yet gets flack. She looks amazing,she's having fun and MDNA is really great. People never make a stink about a 64 yo man hitting on those young girl or the songs/videos he has done but Madonna says I'M A GIRL GONE WILD OR DIFFERENT KIND OF GIRL..and people just give her shit. Madonna has never been conventional, so why start now?

Then you have learned nothing from Madonna. She is not trying to outdo a trying-hard-to-be-an-icon artist like Beyonce or tap into Nicki's fanbase. It is not about greed for her but it is all about being constantly evolving, of having something to say, of being a true artist. Artistry is not limited by gender or age.
