Paul you do beautiful work. I'v followed thru your build of the mr8 and looked at a bunch of the other swaps you have done. As an mk1 owner it makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck to think about how fun it would be to build some and play with some of your creations.

It was as much work as getting a 3sgte to work minus the turbo stuff... so it needed all four engine mounts redoing etc

so how much of the tubing and all the mr2 parts did you need to change to get that working

The engine is from a gen6 celica.

lol the description is fairly accurate, the engine is from a Gen 6 Celica and is a 3S-GE, them others are just chattin, they probably don't know any other Toyota's exist except Supra's and Hi-Lux's

not quite, he means thats the 3rd gen of the 3S. there are several more generations of the 3S... the 3 stands for "version" of the engine, not generation. . thats not a "gen 6" thats a gen 3 with paint like the above post states.

are there any vids of this car on the road? what did it cost all in? would love a mk1 with an engine conversion however not sure wether to go 3s-ge or 3vz-fe. whats the price differance?

thats a great video. :) i'm doing a 3sge + aw11 swap myself... so, this gives me a lot of hope for the future. :)

3s-ge. 3s means it is the 3rd generation S-series engine. ge means wide angle performance valves, and fuel injection
