COD4 Compile Tools: Mounted Machine Gun



Here I show how to put a useable mountable machine gun turret on your map. Keep i mind that the m249_setup model is the only model you can use for a turret, unless your running a mod.

how to copy keys and values into the entity panel?

@jstubbles First check you have at least the spawn entities for TDM, DM,
and a global_intermission. If you do then you may have an error in your
map. Check all the boxes at the bottom of the compile screen before you run
your map.

I've gotten this all to work just fine, but when going to load the map, it
starts loading and then 1/2 way through loading it switches to mp_backlot
and my map never loads :|

Hey dude thanks for the Tutorial, I did everything as you said, but when I
go to compile my BSP, map load to the end then the black screen with an
error message. The message says "weapClass in weapon info
'saw_bipod_crouch_mp' for misc_turret must be 'turret'. I have no idea what
this could mean.. I've tried replacing crouch with stand and saw with
turret but same message..
