had this phone for about 4 months... absolutely loved it.. then my sister got an android.. galaxy spica.. not a very high end.. but after I played with that couldn't go back to bada.. so I bought myself a galaxy S... this is a beautiful phone with good performance.. but that's about it.. there isn't many thing you can do with BADA.. morale of the story... spend as much as you will spend for this phone for an android phone..

I have same problems. Internet browser is slower than earlier, playing movies, some games and touchpad too. We must wait for new firmware and hope to be beter. George from CZ

Oh, that's kind of sad... if they're not gonna release bada 2.0 anytime soon in Australia, i'm gonna go with android... it's taking forever and it's getting REALLY ANNOYING

I had 2.0 and I kicked it off after half hour! Smartphone was slowlly/I mean much slower then 1.0 or 1.2/,and I must touch the screen a few times,not once as before! I see this problem in this video also! Bada 1.2 is better for me than 2.0 I hope in the feature 2.0 will be better/faster and without any touch problems/.

they're never going to release an updated version of the OS, the bastards. makes me so angry. there's been bada 1.02, bada 1.2, now bada 2.0, and it's been out for a LONG time, and canada and australia and a few other countries don't have any of these updates whatsoever. they're just purposely denying us updated firmware because they said, and I quote, "we do not deem the firmware update necessary."

i have a Wave 1 and i live in Australia. I haven't gotten an update yet on Kies and my google maps isn't compatible with the wave. It keeps telling me to upgrade to Bada 2.0, but i don't think it has been released in Australia yet

as of yet, in Australia we haven't gotten even bada 1.2 let alone bada 2.0.. how did you do this, and does it work with google maps and the samsung appstore?

If you want to try flashing it yourself then google the wave forum, there's a how to guide, but its at your own risk...

If kies says cant update (I had the same problem), its a software miss-match, back-up your contacts remove your SD card (if you have one) take it to a samsung service center and ask them to flash your phone.

However, if it just says latest software installed, you've probably got a branded phone and the update can only come when your provider (O2, Vodafone, etc) release it.

if i get the beta how do i switch back to 1.0. Also i cant get the 1.2 update kies just says i gave the latest version when i have 1.0. Can someone please help me with this?

a new beta is out , and is slightly better than this, the official will be released on first quarter 2012...at least we hope so

Nice but how many apps TOTAL can it fit? I.e. Bada1.2 allows 3x4 x10 screens, so a maximum of 120 apps. Also, any support for folders yet (games, office apps, system apps, etc.)?
