in uncharted Puzzles are very easy and it gives you hints, but yes i prefer Uncharted all my life instead of resident evil 5. Portal is another genre I can't understand why why are talking about portal.portal is not a Horror game with puzzles.It is puzzles oriented in the majority.

I didn't say puzzles were boring, i said RES puzzles were a bit boring. The item collection and some of the key treasure finding is fun, and slotting it together is cool, but that's in 5 as well. There is sense to the shooting in res5; there's just as much of it as there is in 4.

Don't fucking assume that i don't enjoy the classics- i do, i'm playing through RE4 at the moment, that's why i watched this. Final Fantasy has changed- have you been living in a hole? 13 was a radical departure from the formula, but it was something new. RE5 is a good game- this, re4, was far more actiony than 3 etc... but was still good. Adding action doesn't particularly dumb it down. The action can be the puzzle.

i do not think so, I stopped playing final fantasy games many years ago, also I am done with call of duty games, and If Resident Evil 6 is an action shitty game like the 5th, i am done with that.I work too hard to earn my money,^0 dollars a game is too expensive in my opinion for a game without depth.It is not the same Spiderman movie than Inception right?
You can pay to view superheroes movies or pay for something that you will remember for ages to come.

You seem to be blinded by your pride or fanatism. FF are still FF, nothing change besides graphics or animations.still the same core game, Resident Evil franchise can be called Infamous or Borderlands or assasins creed and you will not notice the difference,still an action game,not a puzzle game.
End the feud cause you know You are wrong,resident evil is done,there will be no more resident evil games,just a 10 year old kid kind of game.your type of game maybe,not hardcore gamers.

Your right about RE losing its puzzles and horror theme.
But RE6 is quite a different genre compared to RE5.
5 was a total change of gameplay into action and adventure but 6 is bringing in drama/quite an interesting storyline.
Seems each RE game being released now has a change in genre.
Can just hope CAPCOM knows what they're doing. Once and RE fan, always and RE fan. :P

This is an HD Remake? It doesn't look all that different. I hate how dev's rerelease games with ''HD REMAKE'' on the front, without mentioning that all they did was up the resolution SLIGHTLY. If that's the case I have the TRUE HD Remake on my Dolphin emulator. 16XAA with actual 1080p (instead of 640p blown up to 1080). I recently bought the serious sam HD games. THOSE are HD Remakes. They use a new engine, newer textures and the models are updated with added effects like dust, water effects,fog

Well, ot be fair, at its time of release RE4 wasn't considered a true RE game since it changed the gameplay so much. I mean, in retrospect it IS a damn good game, and its still one of the better 'over the back' Third person shooters. It also manages to have you conserve ammo, at times. Yet fair is fair.

Firstly, learn to right coherently. Secondly, i never said i liked shooters, i don't particularly. I prefer RPGs, so don't assume shit. I don't think games are getting simpler- i think that because interface has been improved to a good level of accessibility, games are more simple to work than they have been before. Take ff7, for example. You would wander around for ages looking for shit. In the later FFs, you were given a more accessible map, and this was better.

movementys graphics evolve but when the mechanics involve it is different, graphics evolve as well as animation, which always happened, if not play atari 2600.the problem lies in mechanics, what you call evolution id not advancing but getting simpler and dobne for idiots, sorry that you like idiotic games, i don't and many here neither like shooters.

I've played, and grew up playing, older games, and have really enjoyed them, however it really irritates me when people bash our modern games. Games are going to change, and RES 5 is a solid, fun survival horror game that packs as much of a punch as the earlier titles. A lot of fans pre-4 who loved the first few hated the over the shoulder shooting and more action heavy gameplay of RES 4, but look at how much you love it. Things always have to move on.

Exactly! In RE4, I remember having more fun because I had to actually think. In RE5, all I would do is mindlessly shoot everything that moves. I thought it was a good game overall, but, just drifting a little too much from the root gameplay that made RE4 so successful.

Im a true fan, and i've played the majority of the RE games, all the canon and most of the non-canon, only leaving out shit on Gameboys and freaking Survivor games. The 4th game is much better than the 5th. The 5th was awful through story and characters. Yes, Characters.

How dare you insult me like that? I played all the biohazard games in the core series and quite frankly I was tired with the same old same old formula. Dead Space is not a full on horror game, it has many action parts to balance it all out, and I doubt it sells as well as biohazard. Just because mikami left doesn't mean anything majorly bad, since resi4 was a team effort. The camera idea didn't came just from him alone.
