In 1996 there were some copyright issues at stake with a band called Biohazard. They couldn't market that name in the U.S. so they switched it to Resident Evil.

code veronica was a dreamcast exclusive, and capcom signed a contract for it. in order to port it to PS2, Capcom altered the game a bit and changed to the name into code veronica:Complete version(in Japan) and code veronica:X (US/Europe) which then ported over to Dreamcast and NGC

The Complete version is for DC, while CVX is for PS2, which is just Complete with another name. I confess I know nothing about the GC version.

This is Resident Evil Code Veronica COMPLETE. Its waay different than the Ps2 original version or the Dreamcast version. This would most likely be the Gamecube version. Other versions only have Nomral modes on them.

Complete version means with the cutscenes included, lol.

Btw, you should have taken out the door/stairs/ladder squences it would have been better to watch.
