I love RE The Darkside Chronicles so much ! :) This is one of the best Wii games ever released and i enjoyed every second of it :) . It was awesome when you were revisiting RE 2 and Code Veronica and the new chapter Operation Javier with Leon and Krauser on a mission in South America in 2002 and takes place before RE 4 .

Capcom did a great job with this game to capture the fear and the storyplots of RE 2 and Code Veronica :) . The shaky camera made the game scary .

hell yeah, a proper remake of 2 would be great. It's my favourite of the series. If they only just improved the combat, graphics, and controls to todays standards but didn't make the games ONLY about the combat then i'd prefer the new games. They've de-evolved into just boring shooters now.

this looks good graphic wise, but if it's just a shooter then it's gonna be crap gameplay and not what i liked about Resident Evil 2 at all.

One can only hope they remake 2 and 3 together properly for the current consoles instead of rehashes in rail shooters.

Like RaikenXion said, the Wii can't handle that kind of capacity of a video game. Although he is sorely mistaken when he says noone likes rail-shooters these days. He's also wrong in saying the Wii has the graphics capability of the Nintendo Gamecube...because it's capability is higher. And the thing is about your question - how many of them are out these days...uhm, that's what makes the Wii so DAMN popular, because you can't get the awesome rail-shooters ect on any other system. Lol.

Rail-Shooters in which you can't aim at the screen to fire (In your desire would be moving the joystick on thw controller to aim) would be absolutely retarded and B-O-R-I-N-G. There is no action when a 1st-person rail shooter isn't in an arcade style aim-at-the-screen format. Resident Evil is the property of Capcom and Capcom alone, if they wanted to release it on PS3 or Xbox 360 (heaven forbid) they could. It would just be....really....really stupid and noone but you would buy it.

It's going to be nice revisiting Raccoon City in a REII style setting.I love it when they redo games from the Ps1 N64 era with modern graphics.That era for me is realty hard to back to at times.

this re will have better graphics than the umbrella chronicles and more action, but darkside chronicles only have re2 and code veronica X history,i don't like the desition of only launch it on wii, i want it to my xbox 360, but all re rail shooting style are propiety of nintendo

More like it would be a game that Wii could not mange to do, cus its still stuck with Gamecube graphics. rail shooters are not popular any more. Maybe in arcades and how many of them are about these days.
