Initially the entire team (HUNK included) died. The 4th Survivor was purely a bonus game, nothing more. It wasent untill people started asking questions about this HUNK character that they made it canon.

QUESTION?

I was always wondering, how did HUNK survive William Birkin. Did he survive the slash or did he just never went head to head with Birkin to begin with, and was lucky enough to not be there when Birkin transformed. There were too many guys with the same uniform, can't tell which one he was. I know he was the one carrying the briefcase with the G-Virus, if so he has be one of the ones attacked by Birkin, because the case spilled and Birkin crush those tubes inside.

I jus downloaded resident evil 2 on the playstation network recently and OMG i felt chills and nostalgia playin this game again after 15 fuckin years! oh and i also beat both scenarios with top scores in under 3 hours and unlocked hunk's 4th survivor, nice to know even after a decade i havent lost my touch. time to download nemesis and code veronica.

there where other SPF operatives around beside the ones shown in this cutscene.

Hunk was the only survivor cuz he realized that 9mm Bullets wnt do shit to William G. I hope RE makes a mini game about him cuz Hunk has some story back then, he survived the infection in Roqueford Island, thats where he got trained too.
